That image is probably my favorite version of Male!Lightning that I found thus far, no really. It fits my mental idea that a male!Lightning won't look exactly like a Cloud but still have something of a little femininity to him.

In terms of looks, he's boyish, lithe and defined. Think of a marathon runner or swimmer if you must. His hair is just as pink as his canon counterpart. His eyes are the same color but in terms of body shape, he's definitely not an (American) Football player at all.

He's easily mistaken for being underage, despite being 21. This assumption should last well into his late twenties, early thirties. He also can't grow a beard for the life of him. It's near impossible actually. Same with stubble.

I would say he might be closer to Bartz (from Dissidia: Final Fantasy) in terms of body definition. He is not, however, easily mistaken for a girl. He just has that soft look to his face that's more toward the boyish quality than a real effeminate look (if that makes sense).
